Bye bye, Beck

Recently got a gift from someone who doesn't know me very well. I managed to act reasonably polite, but when I saw Glenn Beck's face staring up at me from the book cover I wanted to smack the gift-giver over the head with it. We stopped at Barnes & Noble on the way home, where I presented it to the sales clerk and said, "I just got this as a gift, and I need to get rid of it." Normally they require a receipt, but in this case he said he was glad to help me out. Frankly, I would have been happy to just hand it to the guy and be done with it, but being able to swap it for some Neil Gaiman and Michael Chabon made me feel even better.

OK, that was enough to make me come back to see what you say next time. Also, we can geek Leverage-wise at your discretion. (blame Kung-fu Monkey that I followed you home.)

Glad you liked that little anecdote. To be honest, I had forgotten all about this little blog until seeing "The Writer" (a moniker that only makes sense for me in the context of this particular blog) show up again made me do some investigating.

I'm more than happy to do any Leverage geeking. That's the first show in a long time that I look forward to watching every week, and the little iTunes snafu that led me to get the finale early thrilled me to no end.
